Callander House owners Tim and Debbie Callander met at Texas Tech in 1987. They are both TTU graduates and have raised their family here in Lubbock, Texas. They have 2 adult children, one son- in- law, and 2 grandsons. Debbie has worked with seniors since 1994 as a licensed social worker and a licensed nursing home administrator. She is an active volunteer in many senior linked organizations including the Alzheimer Association, Medical Social Workers Association, Lubbock Organization of Residential Care Homes, South Plains Home Care Association and more. Tim is a local paint contractor. He is involved in local organizations as well and is very active in the community. They are members of Highland Baptist Church and have been for over 30 years. They began their company in March of 2015 with one small residential care home and have expanded to four homes in the past 8 years. Their passion for caring for seniors in small home settings is strong, their staff members are trained and dedicated employees with the same passion, their management team consists of some of the best in town . They partner with many agencies in caring for their residents, including local home health and hospice agencies, personal care agencies, and volunteers.
